Remote deposit capture on banking rails, then crypto on Solana — in that order. Links below go to the real specs and docs behind each step.
01
Self-custody destination for USDC or SOL. Connect before you scan so payouts have somewhere to land after clearance.
02
Quality gates lock only when corners, resolution, glare, blur, cropping, side detection, MICR, and frame coverage all pass.
03
We read amount, written amount, payee, payer, bank, routing, account, check number, date, memo, and endorsement. This is data — not settlement.
04
For manual review we use Teller’s institution directory. Automatic deposits also run duplicate / risk checks before presentment.
05
Paycheck → sponsor bank / RDC partner → U.S. check network → paying bank. Electronic image cash letters under Check 21.
06
Only after settlement: fees → USD → USDC → optional SOL swap → customer wallet. Returns before payout mean no crypto was sent.
Primary sources for the rails and tools Paycheck builds on.
Reading a check does not create a balance. Settlement does.
Crypto releases after clearance so NSF returns don’t strand the platform.
Double-entry accounting stays separate from Solana transactions.
